Nana Plaza
GoGo Bars, LadyboyNana is a different beast. Where Cowboy is a street, Nana is a three-storey open-air complex — a horseshoe of bars stacked on top of each other around a central courtyard. Thirty-plus GoGo bars across three floors, each one louder and more intense than the last as you climb higher. The ground floor is approachable. The third floor is not for the faint-hearted.
The standout venue is Cascade on the third floor — Bangkok's most famous ladyboy GoGo bar, and one of the most professionally run venues in the complex. If that's not your thing, avoid the third floor entirely. The second floor has some of the better mainstream GoGo bars including Billboard and Spanky's. Expect higher energy than Cowboy, slightly higher prices, and a rawer atmosphere overall.
Nana peaks later than Cowboy — things don't really get going until 10pm and it runs hard until 1am. Security is visible and the complex is generally safe inside. The area around Sukhumvit Soi 4 outside Nana, however, is where you'll encounter freelancers and street touts. Walk confidently, ignore anyone who approaches you with a "special show" pitch, and you'll be fine.

Rainbow 4
GoGo BarsThe most well-known of the Rainbow bars at Nana Plaza and a long-standing favourite. Rainbow 4 sits on the ground floor and is one of the first bars you encounter when entering the complex — which contributes to its consistently high foot traffic. Known for a strong dancer lineup and a no-nonsense atmosphere. The Rainbow brand has been a fixture at Nana for over two decades; Rainbow 4 is where most of that reputation was built.
Spanky's
GoGo BarsOne of the better-known GoGo bars on the second floor of Nana Plaza. Spanky's has a loyal following among regulars who prefer the second floor's slightly more relaxed energy compared to the intensity of the third floor. Reasonable prices, consistent quality, and a well-run operation. It sits in a good position on the second floor horseshoe — visible from the courtyard below and easy to find on your first visit.
Venus Flytrap
LadyboyLocated on the third floor of Nana Plaza alongside Cascade, Venus Flytrap is one of the other ladyboy-focused GoGo bars in the complex. Less famous than Cascade but draws its own crowd of regulars. The third floor of Nana is generally the most intense part of the complex — Venus Flytrap fits that energy. Worth visiting as part of a third-floor circuit if Cascade is full or if you want to compare.
