Zoe in Yellow

Zoe in Yellow is the beating heart of Chiang Mai's mainstream nightlife — a cluster of large open-air bars and a central dance area near Ratvithi Road, just outside the northwest corner of the Old City moat. It attracts a mixed crowd: backpackers, expats, locals, and travelers of all ages.

The vibe is more party than pickup, but the two overlap freely. Multiple bars surround a shared outdoor dance floor. Drinks are cheap, music is loud, and the energy builds well past midnight. Go-go elements are lighter here than Loi Kroh — this is more bar-hopping territory than a dedicated adult strip. A good starting point before heading to Loi Kroh later in the evening.
